Samsung wallet and bmw digital key

Has anyone loaded a bmw digital key into the wallet as I am getting an error saying that wallet is not compatible with bmw digital key

It might be that your version of BMW isn't compatible with Samsung Digital Key 🤔 

It might then be beneficial to either ask your car dealership and or have a search for some BMW forums to see if other owners of your car type have been successful in adding this.

Looks to be either an incompatibility with the phone or software version then @Erniem64  🤔 

See if sending some feedback via the Samsung Members App helps.

I have the same issue. Ironically, it used to work just days ago with the same car and the same phone. Trouble started when I had to change country on my BMW ConnectedDrive account (from UK to Norway - long story) and consequently had to reconnect my ConnectedDrive account and my digital key. Now when I try to connect it says that "Samsung Wallet does not support this digital key". Very strange. Tried updating apps, rebooting phone, rebooting car, everything. No luck what so ever. Using Samsung S22+.

I have the samedi issue. My car is from 2021 and my S24ultra is suppose to be compatible. But it says not. So how to solve this pb.

Hi,

My Fold 5 is having similar problem. It is the latest version of Android but the same error message appears whenever i try to add the digital key. BMW dealer told me to try using google wallet but i dont see a manual override option in the BMW app to change from Samsung wallet to Google wallet. Was anyone able to resolve the issue?
