For awhile my s23 hasn't been playing around from the main speaker only earphone speaker and after a night at a music event I wanted to listen to my videos properly so I restarted my phone, since then nothing plays audio now, videos, music phone calls everything, and then the microphone isn't working either now so my phone refuses to record videos on the camera or Snapchat Instagram anything, my phone is effectively bricked now I've tried restarting or letting die then charging up I don't wanna factory reset particularly but is this an issue with the phone or software or what, this is my second Samsung phone that's been bricked now as my s22 ultra just died after a year being brand new from Samsung due to a faulty cpu

Possible Causes:

  1. Software Glitch: After a restart, it's possible that a software bug or system issue caused the audio and microphone drivers to malfunction. These types of glitches can affect sound and recording functions, making it seem like the phone is "bricked."

  2. Audio Settings/Permissions Issue: Sometimes, after updates or system changes, specific audio settings or app permissions can cause sound output and recording to break. For instance, if the audio output is set to the wrong device, or if permissions for the microphone are disabled, this could cause the issues you're facing.

  3. Hardware Failure: Given that you've experienced a CPU issue with your previous phone, it’s possible that this could be related to a hardware malfunction. However, considering that everything seems to have stopped working at once, it's more likely to be software-related.
