The CSC code BTE is united Kingdom but the XNZ is New Zealand. The last 3 letters of the CSC code is the original CSC code of the phone and can't be changed. So it was originally meant for the New Zealand market. It often comes up on here with people who have brought phones second hand or refurbished. The usual advice is that it won't update because it's out of region. That's not technically correct. The issue is that the CSC isn't correct for the region the phone was meant for. Unless the CSC is correct for the region then it won't update even if you use smart switch.

Hello 👋 @kane007 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

Hopefully it's not an issue attached to the fact that the phone is a refurbished model.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-troubleshoot-software-update-issues.

A Samsung Experience Store might be able to assist if you have one local and have proof of putchase.

You may need to also go back to Vodafone as they are the original Merchant and do hold back software updates for testing ,which might somehow be affecting your phone.

The Vodafone Social Media Teams via Facebook or X can help https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/About-the-Community/Contact-us-about-account-related-queries

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Return the device for replacement.

You shouldn't be having these issues and you have a 14 day window to return them from date of delivery.

Call Vodafone on 191 to confirm your intentions before sending and take a video of the device before it goes.
