Don't be swayed by boring complaints about design. It is a good and fun upgrade. Battery life and heating issue, for some, could be caused by Instagram.

I only just upgraded, and aesthetically it feels much more like an Apple design than an Android design. Icons have a rounder, more 3d "bubbly" feel to them... which for me, makes me absolutely loathe it. You may disagree.
It comes with Galaxy AI, with no way to uninstall it. You can disable the individual components, but the first thing the update will do is try to get you to go through Galaxy AI and talk about how wonderful it is. That on its own was enough to taint the entire update for me. No matter what other changes they made, the icon change and the instant "HERE IS AI YOU MUST USE AND LOVE AI" welcome message mean that I absolutely loathe this update and wish I could uninstall it. Practically you can disable, so it's really not a big deal, but if they tried to throw it in my face once I expect they'll try to re-enable it every single update so now I'll have to monitor every setting with every update to make sure they don't try to sneak it back in.
I've seen a lot of battery complaints; I haven't had it installed long enough to tell, but I'll post back here if I see any.
Basically, if the idea of having Galaxy AI forced on your phone and thrown in your face isn't something you like, avoid this update. If you don't like the look of the new icons, consider avoiding it. Otherwise, you'll probably be fine.

I have S22+, S23 and S25 Ultra on ONE UI 7.
No problems with battery on either...
S23 and S22 are running smoothly. No heating problems etc.
Combined with Good Lock it's a masterpiece...
