S23 locked out

My phone went flat I put on charge, I normally use fingerprint to open, it now says pattern, I haven't a clue what it is. Tried soft reset, i'm now on a 2hr wait before I can try next pattern ....send HELP

Before setting up fingerprint, I understand it is also necessary to set up a pin.

Hiya when you set up a fingerprint you are aske to set up pin number as well and that's need if your battery goes flat.the default pin number use to be 0000. Try this first

If you have Find My Mobile enabled you can unlock the phone .

thank you I know the pin I set but I dont remember using a pattern .

It doesnt give the option for finger print or pin number just a pattern on 9 dots

Usually after a restart you are required to use a pin.....
