S23 lock screen

So I've just updated from the s20 to the s23, usually when I close my flip case on my phone it locks my phone for me, but I've noticed with the s23 it doesn't do this... is there any way to turn this feature on or have they removed it? It's driving me mad trying to find the settings and hoping they've not removed it unless using one of their cases 🙈

Are you sure the case supports sleep/wake? Just asking as I purchased one once before for my tab s7+ from amazon. It stated it supported sleep/wake. Once I got it I had to send it back as it did not. Ended up having to purchase another. Unfortunately I only have Samsungs own for the s23 ultra, so I can't help if it has been removed on the s23 series.

Is it the Samsung case you have and have you installed the app for the case. I have the S22ultra and use the Samsung LED case, I had to download the smart LED view case app before I got it to work. I also use the smart clear view case sometimes.

It supports sleep/wake. After talking to Samsung support they've removed the feature unless you buy a Samsung case.

I guess I'm going to have to buy a Samsung case 🙈 prefer others but would rather have close to lock

my case still works with sleep/wake on tab s8 and it's not an official case

Which case do you have out of curiosity?

I have a Dux Ducis case. I've ordered a Samsung one to see of that makes the difference they're saying

I've had the same issue, samsung case worked, new case didn't, thanks to Keith above I searched for an apparently now using smart flip cover on/off and it's working again

I have galaxy s20 with flip cover originaly from samsung. recently function turn off display by closing cover suddenly stoped working. Do you know how to fix it please?
