I believe this is all normal @sarasphotobox and I just want to assure you of this. My advice to you would be to really stretch your videos out timewise and up your resolution a bit too. Get your phone really working hard and please don't worry unduly about your battery life. Your phone wants to work hard to optimize itself better for you. It's a bit like owning a Ferrari and only using it for little trips to the shops, in that that car's engine will never give it's best until it is well run in and used hard. I really hope you enjoy your phone and that you get a lot out of owning it. 👍

@sarasphotobox    yes optimisation does take a bit of time and need to use a variety of functions to have  your device working at its best. May not be exactly the same but a  useful anology  @Babishko .  Even when usage patterns have been identified some activities are obviously more power intensive ,I think it is important to get the best balance of Battery life and a rewarding experience.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I must confess that I have never used battery protection to limit charging to 85% Sara, but I would recommend doing this if you are worried about getting the best lifespan from your battery. Especially if you plan to keep your phone for more than two years. 👍
