Recurring messages on facebook messenger

Messages and reactions ive already read keep repopping up as a notification every 30 minutes. 

Ive tried reinstalling and clearing data and cache.

Any help?

It seems like a persistent notification issue. Try checking your notification settings within the app and on your device to ensure there are no unusual settings causing this. If the problem persists, reaching out to the app's support team for assistance might be beneficial.

Thanks for you help, worth checking my noti settings but already messaged samsung support as it seems to be exclusive to samsung devices

Does what you describe happen just on Facebook, or also with other Apps?

If it's exclusively an issue of Facebook, I suggest you to wait and check for further updates on Google Play Store. If not so, let us know what other situations are going on.
