But how long does it usually take between getting the Beta update and getting the real mcCoy ??

All depends on how the Beta software testing goes
Once it gets sufficiently consistent. It will roll out.
Google will be releasing the finished Android 14 software and were looking at the release of the new Google Pixel 8 devices.
Some speculation that it's been delayed.
But ultimately there's no actual date.
The One UI 6 software is looking like next month

There have just released the beta version for the S22 in Korea so it may not be to far away now.

It will be out probably in one month, but when it will be on our phones, who knows?
I'm testing the beta version right now and it still has some bugs,
Samsung must be very careful because Christmas is coming and the new iPhones are already out,
so it must be polished to perfection.
And they're certainly busy with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Series,
but to be honest,
in the recent let's say past two years,
the updates are quicker than used to be in the past.
