Phone is not displaying my number in contacts

My number on the About and contacts are showing as 00000000. How can I change this to my actual number?

It's a company issued work phone which I got week and set it up from scratch.

You might need to contact network provider to update the sim

The phone gets your phone number from the SIM card so it could be a dodgy SIM. As you've already found out you can't change the number displayed on your phone. I had my number ported from a previous network so my SIM displays a different number to my actual number.

It's a brand new sim and opened it from the packaging. Just odd
