Yes this is the same for others including me.
I share your concern as well.
Apparently there is a fix and update coming in the next software update
Reportedly this month
But nothing official just yet

That is scary Samsung ignoring Security for over half year 😞
I mean - ok if that would be £100 smartphone but in crazy £1250 flagship S23 Ultra?

Rest assured that they are not ignoring anything like this
Its been widely reported so they are fully aware.
Apparently it's reported that there is an issue between Samsung and Google. Think it's actually more on Google's side of things.
I know Google has been having issues with the software they have been developing, and they've had many problems to sort out. This being one of them.

The Samsung January security patch is expected to be very soon, but the Google play services software from Google they doesn't seem to be any news on that issue so we just have to keep waiting. There's a lot struck on July 23 though to December mine including which is on October 23.

My S23 Ultra and Z Fold 5 are on August Google play software
Even my Pixel 7 Pro is still on November
So even Google's own devices are behind a bit
