Lock Screen Notification Brightness Really Dim

Since yesterday I downloaded the new update One UI version 6.1... the beginning of my nightmare. Since this so-called update my lock screen information does not appear anymore it is so dim that you can't see anything. Before this update there was a feature to turn the brightness up or to lower it. The brilliant people at Samsung decided that they didn't think I needed it anymore. Well I'm pissed. I didn't give you guys permission to mess up a perfectly fine working phone. There are other things as well that have been moved and you can't find them. Or have been taken away. When your  making update you're supposed to make it user friendly. I spent many hours on the phone with technicians from Samsung yesterday. No one can figure it out. Right now I want my lock screen to be bright again because I use it all the time now that you guys screwed up my phone I no longer can use it cuz I can't see it. There was at one time a feature. Before you guys got your hands on my phone. Now I have a $1399 phone that I am unhappy with. And I realized next time I could buy a $99 phone and be just as unhappy. I promise you guys this if they don't send me an update for that fix for the very very very dim lock screen. My next phone will be in iPhone.. how about moving around things and chat the microphone's gone. And the toggle switch to switch back and forth from keyboard to another keyboard. Thanks for making things a little more difficult for me. Now I consider this a piece of ***** it is no longer user friendly. I'm a very unhappy customer. And I promise you may God be my witness I will not buy another Samsung product if this does not get fixed. .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having this problem too after the update with my S21. I don't have vision problem and it's so dim I can hardly see it. Samsung needs to resolve this issue asap!

Thank you so much.  I've only had the phone a week and spent ages getting it the way I wanted it.  Then Samsung do an update which not only changes my settings but then removes these very basic settings to an app. Ridiculous.  Thanks to you, I've sorted it out

Thanks for the reply, but the same thing happens when clicking the link in the YT '404 error page not found'. Earlier, for a moment, the brightness had fixed, and now it's gone to dim again.

I have the brightness bar showing, that's not a problem, and its setting is at max brightness. If I turn the brightness bar all the way down, it dissappears, so it's responsive, it's just so dim when maxed.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for posting this because I was really losing my mind trying to figure this thing out. But thanks to you, my phone is working the way it was before that stupid update. Really appreciate you

Good lock and lock star, the dim clock without adjustment was stressful for me also to fix. Now though it works a treat with the above, good lock and lock star. What a genius thank you so much for discovering this game changer with the ability to be able adjust manually once more the brightness on lock screen. 10 out of 10 thanks.
