I am having problems since this update with my display

So when I charge my phone up below the loading circle below the loading circle on wasn't lighting up when it was charging the brightness was on low but when I unlocked my device my brightness was on foe and I couldn't even read what my battery was saying because it was that bad then I was trying to read the charging information I couldn't even read that because it was so low and when I would put my phone to charge the charging circle I couldn't even see it you have to really look at it to be able to see it I've never had a problem like this before because normally the charging circle shines when it's charging when you lock your phone and this is happening on an s23 ultra that I've got and I believe it's something to do with the new update

Yes I have I think it's something to do with the new update especially as well I'm trying to see the charging circle because it's too low and obviously as well because the brightness it was never like that before and it would always shine in my face but it hasn't done it with the new update but when I underlock my phone it's fine

Hiya I have the Galaxy s23 ultra. And the loading circle only appears when you firstly plug your charging cable in and mine is readable. Depends on screen settings as well

Difficult to replicate, but I can confirm in some lighting scenarios the screen dims so much so that it's very hard to read info on the screen. Don't know if this is the ambient light level sensor or something else. This occurs whether my screen brightness is set to adaptive or not. The reintroduction of the AOD brightness adjustment would benefit here.
UPDATE: Just tried the AOD outside in bright sunlight and yes the screen dims so much it's very difficult if impossible to read the screen.

I ended up getting the update last night and since then my lockscreen is so ***** dim that its hard to read something. The option of being able to see the brightness has disappeared as well.

i really hope they fix this asap and this is pretty poor by them
