How to transfer selected data between a smartphone (S23) and a tablet (A9)

what is the easiest way to transfer data from my S23 to the A9 tablet?

and I am not asking to transfer all. at the end of the day I want to just copy the 100 pictures I took on the S23 as a backup to the A9 without using the internet.

smart switch is nice to transfer all pictures, but in my case I would have to manually select the 100 pictures.

can't you just connect both devices with a USB-c to USB-c cable and transfer like in explorer on a PC?

Yes, you can. I do it with my S23U and Tab S9U. Simply plug in, goto your gallery, choose the photos you want to xfer. Click on the share icon, tap Quick Share, and choose your A9. Done.
