Hi
Would you say you that the older Galaxy A54 is a better value now because of the chipset (having decent performance), very decent photos & videos and a far better battery life than the newer S23 FE ?
Or would you say the S23 FE (after all those software updates) is a much more compelling device to invest on in terms of those aspects mentioned? Or is the overheating and poor battery life is still a reality?
Or would you guys rather just get the vanilla Galaxy S23 for its chipset, cameras and everything else?

I never considered an S23 Ultra device. Too big and heavy for my hands, expensive and i don't see the purpose of having a stylus on a phone. And besides it it gets splashes water may come in contact inside the stylus port which i do not like.

I heard that all A-series and S-series released in the last 2 years that is on 256GB storage runs on a more faster and more efficient UFS 4.0? is this true?

I am not too excited for all these long updates cycle. For me it is just marketing speak. People (and companies) don't realize and consider whether a person will actually use a device for 5, 6 or 7 years? And even if they use it for that long i will bet all my money the phone will either slow down or all these new features may not even be available due to hardware limitations. For me I'm happy if a device will get three years of OS support and four years of security patches.
The S24 FE looks interesting. Only if Samsung did not make it bigger, taller, wider, heavier than the previous model. And let's face it... for over £600 it is not priced competitively. If it was £599 it will sell like hotcakes. Samsung prices are exorbitant and bonkers tbh.
I'm concentrating more whether the A54 is a better phone than S23 FE (lighter, better battery life, etc.) or the S23 FE is better than the A54 (newer, better chipset, better camera system but a bit worse battery life). or get a vanilla S23 instead.
I'm also looking into getting a 256GB version of either of those phones as I heard they have the newer, more efficient UFS 4.0. True or not?
