Hi, it happens to me too. Now when I'm in a dark room I cant read the message through the edge lighting because its too dark. In UI5 the screen brights up but in UI6 it doesnt.

Same here, at first I thought my notifications somehow got disabled but the edge light and popup were just so dim I could't see them, I don't know if it's a bug or I missed some new setting

The same thing happens to me after the update. I did some research and more or less fixed the problem by going into Always on display, auto brightness off and turning the screen brightness up. Once this is done, you can turn off Always on display and it seems that the brightness of the "Edge lighting" notifications works as expected.

That worked, thanks! I had AOD on (in tap to show mode) but didn't even realize it had its own brightness setting

I did not like android 14 one ui 6.0 at all and was excited to get it until this issue and also other issues with battery life and system data says used 170 gb used on 13 ui 5.1 system was only 35.5 used so I rooted my device and was able to have 13 one ui 5.1 back.. and all was good on my factory unlocked s 23 ultra... it was like apples update to me the way settings were and others I don't like or use iPhones and didn't want this useless 14 ui 6.0 on my device
