Hello all, have a question for you all. Recently seen a post on reddit. In battery and device care storage. Someone had the option to clear app cache. I have not yet seen this option under storage. Just get the main unused apps and recycle bin. Has any one had this option show up? It would be easier to clear all apps cache occasionally then clearing apps cache individually. Just have never had the option show like this person on reddit has.

It is in the apps list but under Device Care only. You can clear the cache under storage in there.

Some get the option to clear all app cache at once. Not needing to do it individually. Any ideas?

I am waiting for that day too.. Occasionally I do clean (not me or myself, but my apps 😂😂) individually or app by App

Just to share with you, for the first time in my life I heard of the word "cache".. Only after joining Android/Samsung, never with Apple

Wouldn't a phone restart clear the cache from all the apps? Isn't that why they recommend restarting your phone on a regular basis?

A restart doesn't clear the cache for apps. Something you do have to go into the apps storage to do 😒. Would be good to clear all apps cache all at once.

Ah yeah of course. A restart just closes all the apps so they have to restart. It doesn't clear cache in the process 👍🏻

It would be a useful road to clearing cache of the apps.

Personally I'll only clear cache if issues are presenting themselves.

The phone pretty much looks after itself generally.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

This one is interesting. I use Files by Google to help me which of my apps use a lot of storage space. But this one I never seen. I do hope samsung rolls it across all models in a future update.

Iv'e never found that setting in mine, as far as I'm aware you have to clear each app cache separately but it take quite a lot of of time if you have a lot of apps.
