When I receive a text message containing a phone number such as "you have a new voicemail message, please call 101" The 101 isn't highlighted and I can't tap and call. The same goes if I am sent a message to call any phone number, it isn't highlighted nor can I call it directly from the text message.

Unfortunately call isnt one of them. There's delete, forward, select text etc but no way to call

thats right the number in the message- ie call Fred on 12344567 and nothing to call. This was highlighted on my old Samsung phone and just clicked the number and it called but on the S23

can do that easily for 101 but if someone sends me a text with a phone number in it, I have to try and remember the number or write it down and then go to the phone keypad and dial it. Was much easier when I could just click on the number inside the message and it would call, a bit like a hyperlink in an email opening a webpage. There must be a setting somewhere that needs to be changed
