I feel like the animations in stable one ui 6 are inconsistent and not fast enough, can't switch quickly between apps like you could in 5.1. Anyone else feel this way?

I don't like One UI 6 at all. An important Good Lock module for me, Home Up, now doesn't work. Nova Launcher animations are rubbish now. The lock screen double tap feature is slow. The animations in general are not great.

I wonder how after weeks and weeks of Beta testing, we've been given a poor stable?

I agree, the goodlock modules will be updated soon but there's a lot of problems that haven't been resolved and it takes far too long for updates to come through. Making me want to switch to a different brand of phone, the animations haven't really changed much the transitions from different menus in settings are just very basic. Not what I expect from an almost £1000 phone i do feel like they have got some things right with one ui6 , it's not all bad. But I expect more from such a massive brand

Yeah I totally agree. I'm the same, this update has annoyed me so much that I am also contemplating going to another brand. Until now, this has been the best phone I've ever had and been a great phone.

I think Samsung were so focused on making the animations like iOS, that they've overlooked some parts of the UI.

100%. Hopefully they fix it with 6.1 but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Don't hold your breath. If they couldn't sort it after weeks of Beta, it's unlikely to be fixed by the next update.

I think they rushed the release, they should have released it in December. Since Google devices were already pushing their update, Samsung thought they might as well update it to stay up to date but it's half done 🙃

I agree, it honestly feels a rushed update rather than a final, polished one.
