I like the adaptive charging feature that Samsung introduced with One UI 6.1: For battery protection, the phone learns your sleep patterns and when charging overnight, it stops at 80% and then resumes like ~1h before your estimated wake time. So your phone should be fully charged when you wake up, while not causing battery damage.
However, this could be improved: Today I had an alarm set for 7am and my phone was still charging at 92%. (No big deal, but if my alarm would have been for 6am, I assume it would have been in the 80% range) Apparently, the phone had estimated a later wake up time based on earlier sleep patterns. This could be improved by making adaptive charging take a set alarm in the (early) morning into account and adjust charging accordingly.
Cheers!

Switched to the s24 plus from my OnePlus 7t which did have the alarm based optimised charging that I dearly miss. Still using the basic charging which stops at 95%.
Would love to see the alarm based adaptive charging to come to these devices.
