After updating to OneUi 6 WhatsApp notifications disappear from the lockscreen, randomly.
I can still see them after unlocking tho.
It's really frustrating and yes I HAVE done a factory reset.

Maybe it's a problem related to whatsapp, with the new samsung updated it's possible that the whatsapp team needs to update the app

If you want you can ask them (whatsapp support) and see what they have to say about the situation

It's actually from your settings and has nothing to do with the update. Go and change it on your lock screen settings 👌

Hi Cupcakke,

beta versions are, by definition, not yet stable ones.

So, what you're experiencing might be a normal situation at this right time. I suggest you to wait for the latest and regular release of this App.

Have a nice evening!

Not true, I have the same problem, all since the last ui6 update. Tried everything and it ain't working. Beyond me why Samsung would update something that wasn't broken in the first place. Time to change the phone choice I would say.

Hello Nesssa1,

welcome to the official Samsung Italia Community!

I am truly sorry for what you are experiencing.

Could you give me more details about the problem you're experiencing? Does the problem occur exclusively with WhatsApp notifications or with different apps?

Until I receive your reply, I suggest you to proceed with a system cache wipe, called a Wipe cache partition, following these steps:

  • Switch off the phone
  • Check that the USB connector is used, e.g. by connecting it to a PC
  • Press and hold the Power and Volume up keys
  • When Samsung appears, release only the Power key
  • When the blue screen appears, also release the Volume Up key
  • On the next screen there will be many entries: move the Volume up or down to select "wipe cache partition".
  • Confirm this selection with the Power key
  • Move to the "Yes" item and confirm again
  • Finally, move to the "reboot system now" item and confirm.

Please note that this operation will not delete any data. However, we recommend to make a backup of all your data beforehand:

I remain at your disposal.

Have a nice day!
