Hi everyone, I have an issue with my cellphone. It was working fine, only issues charging battery, but I purchased another cable, and it was working. Last weekend I connected my cellphone in a new laptop and tried to access to manage my files, but it didn't work, even I couldn't be able to access my phone, I moved a lot of things inside tools from computer and cellphone and in the end I accessed the pictures and videos on mobile to backup those files.

But later tried to read data from my hard disk SanDisk (bought it for my mobile) and all time it told me there is humidity on the port, I can´t access my hard drive, even now I have issues to recharge, only with one charger works and in some specific way. I did the stuff related to Applications, USB Settings, deleted cache, all, even something related to developer's options and configure something to restart the port with a code (something like *#081081#, predetermined usb configuration=transfer files) and nothing it's working. Could you help me please???

Well, it was weird, but I updated all the software of the cellphone (android 15, One UI 7.0) and now I can read my portable hard drive from my cellphone, it wasn't a problem with the hardware, I believe it was a trouble with the SW. Another think I did was to delete my other account (in cellphone), the one with I connected windows with the laptop, Windows Conect app). Thank you guys!!

Most likely will need service. You can try to gently clean the charging port

It looks like the problem is not with your cable or apps, but with the USB-C port of your phone. The "humidity detected" warning usually means either:

• The port has actual moisture or dust inside, or The sensors in the port are malfunctioning.

-

Here are a few steps you can try:

Check the port physically - Use a flashlight and see if there's dust, lint, or corrosion. Clean gently with a dry toothbrush or compressed air (never with water or metal objects).

2. Let it dry fully - If your phone was exposed to humidity, leave it in a dry place for several hours. Don't try to charge during that time.

3. Try another original Samsung charger & cable Sometimes third-party cables trigger the error.

4.Safe Mode test - Restart in Safe Mode and see if charging/ USB works. If it works there, the problem might be caused by a third-party app.

5.Check with another computer and OTG device - This can confirm if it's the phone's port or your hard drive that's the issue.

6.If nothing helps - Most likely the USB-C port has hardware damage (loose connector or faulty sensor). In that case you'll need service repair, because no software trick will fix it.

Avoid forcing the cable in a "specific way" because that usually makes the port worse over time.

It's weird, because it is charging. When I said in specific way, I mean that only with the logo of the cable upside, if I can turn the cable connector on the other side the cellphone doesn't work. But it happened since I connected to the new laptop, I was thinking that because I logged with a different account in the laptop, it causes the cellphone blocked, I mean de usb port. I'm going to see support for Samsung over here. Thank you.
