I'll keep this short. I'm absolutely appaled with just how stuttery, jittery and jumpy the s22 ultra software experience is. I use other 2021/2022 flagship devices andu s22 ultra, Exynos!!!!!! Is by far the worst. This is a discrace for a £1249 flagship top of the range device. I waited for march update, no improvement I waited for April update even worse. Samsung you have to sort out the animations. No amount of playing with setting in developer options helps. No amount of resets or factory resets helps. This is a serious issue that you have ignored for years. I will not be getting another Samsung device. I know this will absolutely no difference, I mean there's thousands of people complaining online of the same issue and it's falling on deaf ears Samsung. Sort the animations out . And please don't get my started on this Absolute attriocity you call Exynos!! I'm so disappointed. The s22 ultra gets a 2 out of 10 from me.

Sounds more like a faulty device to me. You should return it.

Have you wiped the system cache as this cleared up all of my problems what with the April update runs really smooth now.

It's definitely a scenario where people see different things @Rich400080

For example I don't see jagger/ stutters etc but then another person looking over my shoulder may !

I've owned imported from Hong Kong _ Qualcomm SnapDragon SoC Samsung variants of phone and the same Exynos SoC variant from the UK, and mostly I experienced better optimisation with battery usage. The rest felt the same to be honest.

I would encourage anyone to send feedback via their Samsung Members App under the GetHelp section so that Samsung can channel this to the relevant departments.

Previous phone's will have had more stability updates sent to them than the Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra,  which is possibly why they are more fluid.

There are so many variables in phone's as Android is open source and we all set up our phones differently,  use different apps and in some instances transfer our info across from previous phones to our new phone's differently.

If a phone / SoC/ isn't for you or polished in a way that means a better usage experience for you then that's the beauty of choice to own a different model or phone from another manufacturer.

I wish you all the best.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

It's not . This is a coding issue. This is my third s22 ultra device. I'm very experienced in tech. This is purely something Samsung can only fix. It's being raised more and more recently. The phone is fast and powerful. Its literally things like pressing the screen so you can change wallpapers. It jitters and jumps. Do it a few times and it gets better. It's happening in everything. There's quite a few tech YouTubers raising this issue. It's so bad in considering selling mine . It's literally that bad.

Yep. It's nothing to do with cache. It's way more complicated than that. It's the core coding that controls animations. Nothing other than Samsung sorting it out will fix it. Press your screen as if to change wallpapers. Look how it jitters ! This shouldn't happen. It's poor software management by Samsung . It's something techies are picking up a lot at the moment . Once you start scrolling for a minute or two it eases up and is smoother. But stop and it's back. This shouldn't be the case. I use many phones . No other new device other Samsung devices do this. There's lots of videos and info...

I have just tried what you suggest area of jitter and found nothing wrong at all,no lag or jitter

I can't recreate your issue, after April update my only issue is gone, which is occasional screen lock hang for 2 secs

I'm glad for you. There's even more videos about it now onYouTube. I'm pretty ordering the oneplus 10 Pro and selling my s22 ultra. I've had enough of it.
