I've put a screen protector on my s22 and now I can't unlock my phone using my finger print because the screen can't sense it. Did this happen to anyone else?

Either register your fingerprints again with the protector on. Or the screen protector is not compatible

Do you think it'd work with a different screen protector? It's strange because I can do everything else but the fingerprint

Some screen protectors won't work with indisplay fingerprint sensors.
Try redoing your fingerprints again
Normally best practice to register your fingerprints again after putting a protector on anyway

Settings, type touch sensitivity, toggle on

But as other have said this will work if screen protector works with In display fingerprint readers, not all of them do
