S22 Ultra. Calls ingoing and outgoing are defaulting to my watch. How do I stop this?

Every time I receive a call or make a call it defaults to my watch on bluetooth. Does it on both the Galaxy 4 and a Huawei GT3, so must be a phone issue.

Saw online (but not on this forum) that this is a common issue on the S22 ultra.

Any ideas?

Try turning off 'call and text on other devices ' in the settings menu

Following this, i have the same issue. Routine does not help, downgrading does not help, cache/data clear does not help. Watch has constant bluetooth priority over any device at any time
