S22 one ui 6 beta

I hear that the s22 series of phones will get the one ui 6 in mid September. Can anyone clarify if this is true?

One UI6 is currently in beta for S23 series in UK (unlocked devices only).

S22 beta not expected for a while yet, it may even go straight to final version but likely not until the new year.

The Samsung A54 just got the one ui 6 beta I Korea. This is a mid range phone, I don't know why the s22 was skipped over the A54.

S22 range will be very similar hardware, with the features and operating system. So all can be done through the S23 series
It's possible that the S22 series will get it before the final version

A54 devices have different hardware and features, so testing on this will encompass the similar range of devices in that area of the market

Feel like they've made a mess with updates recently. S22 gets September patch first but A series gets beta before S22 and latest foldables!

I agree with you whole heartedly, Samsung update situation is completely messed up and all over the place 😔
