Need help with trying to claim this defect and junk operation of an expensive phone.
When you land from a flight, the phone's speaker / typical phone call function, is unusable. Apparently, the phone for some reason has an issue where the pressure is reduced in the phone, and is locked that way in descent, therefore it somehow muffles the speaker to an inaudible crackle - rendering it useless.
The fix, is to take out the sim card to balance the pressure with ambient air, and then reinsert it. Absolute lunacy. Where is Samsung on this issue. I was dealing with it for a while, but enough is enough. This will be my last Samsung phone if they make me keep this piece of junk. T-Mobile wont deal with it and is passing the buck since it's a known and documented manufacturer issue. Who do I go though or contact?

Hi @TBflyer
If T-Mobile supplied the phone to you then they as the merchant should be helping you by feeding this back.
You can send feedback direct to Samsung via your Samsung Members App.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Yeah unfortunately tmobile won't assist. They want me to use insurance claim. Im not doing that, this is a phone problem out of the box, and a quick Google search shows its a known thing.

You're lucky. Some do, some don't. Perhaps a certain batch, I don't know. As an airline pilot, I can tell you, it's real, and awful to have to deal with. If you search the issue, you'll see it's happening.

Same problem here. Did not know about the Sims card etraction fix. Mine has resolved itself within 24 hours after flying. Will use the Sim card hack fix going forward. Need to place the Sim card tool in my wallet🙂
