One UI crashing on S22 ultra

I have had my S22 ultra for almost 4 weeks now, but I'm having occasional issues with One UI. More specifically, when I unlock my phone the lock screen freezes, making the phone unresponsive, including the power button. After about a minute or so, the screen goes black before saying that One UI crashed. Once it's crashed, it relaunches itself and everything works fine for a while, but it is extremely annoying when it freezes and there is nothing I can do but wait for it to hopefully fix itself.

I have got the latest software (including the March security patch), but it is still occuring every now and then. I can't recall ever having this happen with my S10 Plus so it is not giving me a positive experience with Samsung's new 'flagship'.

Has anyone else experienced this with the S22 Ultra, and if so, have you managed to fix it?

I have the same problem. Lock screen freezes and only a part of the fingerprint is visible. After 2 minutes the phone reboot it self. I got the new update today 12. mars and it didn`t fix.

Got the same update yesterday and indeed it did not fix the problem, i don't understand why samsung didn't fix it with this update.

Mine crashed again over night , does it every night you can see here when it rebooted and when I accessed the phone again, keep sending in crash logs this is not acceptable., And needs a urgent fix¡

My s22 ultra also crashes in the nicht  but only but only when the sim card is the phone or the or the sim card is active is out does the phone work just fine

Are you a Verizon customer?  I am wondering if there is an incompatibility there.  My AT&T friends, brother, and cousin don't have these issues with their phones, and Verizon uses the CDMA system, totally different from all other carriers.

Myself and my girlfriend both got the S22 Ultras in the UK 3 weeks ago today, we are both having signal problems and my girlfriends phone consistently freezes as described in the comments here. She goes to unlock the phone and the fingerprint sensor only half shows and either has to wait a couple of minutes or the phone restarts.  She gets error messages saying One UI crashed.

My phone has randomly rebooted several times as well. 

 

Not a great start after dropping so much money at launch to buy these

It is very annoying to say the least, although slightly reassuring that so many others are having similar issues, so hopefully the issues will be addressed sooner rather than later.

Same problem here. Infuriating after paying premium price for a laggy and unstable 'flagship' phone.

Got the exynos  1Tb/12gb sky blue. My Snapdragon s21 ultra is working a lot better, much smoother experience, not stuttering while scrolling and no issues at all, from day 1.

Samsung should offer extended time refund no question asked to anyone owning the exynos version of this phone. And come out publicly apologising for this mess. They're taking us for cash cows and don't care about us.
