One UI 6 - S22 bugs

Got One UI 6 installed on S22 Ultra Monday. 

No real problems but the Samsung Email app sometimes shuts as soon as you open it for the first time. Doesn't always happen but happened enough times now for me to think there is a slight tweak needed here. Never happened on previous One UI iterations. 

Anyone else anything?

One thing you can try is Wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone

Wiping the Partition Cashe clears out a lot of old or corrupted information that can cause issues

Follow the steps below. You must follow every step and you should be done in about a minute

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable
to PC or another Samsung mobile

You will see the charging icon on your screen.
Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.
You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.
The Samsung Logo followed by
Samsung Galaxy appears on the
screen.

At this point, release the keys
Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose "Wipe Cache
Partition" .
Use the power button to accept that.
You will then see its cleared.

Then the top option, reboot phone.
Press the power button to reboot the phone and then sign in normally

Interestingly my S22 ultra was recently updated to One UI 6 but I've had no issues? Strange

Thanks did that and app boost after update. Its not a big issue.

There's talk of a pixel ***** problem, which can cause serious screen problems

Mine does exactly the same thing with the email app. Good to hear its not just me. I agree, i think it needs tweaking, hoping the next fix update will resolve this.

I have found 2 problems so far, sometimes nfc payments act up. Where it shouldn't be necessary to open the payments app from my bank, now sometimes it is. Annoying, but no big issue, dince there is a workaround.

The other issue is more annoying, since I haven't found a workaround yet. But it is a very specific issue. I use home assistant for my home automation, and I like the widgets. And here lies the issue, when I want to add a widget, it looks like there are 6 flavors to choose from, but when I open the drop down, I get only 5. And ofc number 6 is my widget of choice.

I did already report this through the members app, but if there are others with these issues, you are not alone 😁
