I've got the S22 ultra and it didn't come with a proper screen protector so had to buy one separately

It's very unlikely. I have never had a phone come with a protector.
Samsung aren't even shipping power adaptors with new phones now so hang on to your old ones if you recycle

This year unfortunately it does not come with a factory fitted screen protector, unlike the S21 Ultra and S20 Ultra before.

It's ridiculous that phones as expensive as the current Samsung ones, heck even the A series DON'T come fitted with screen protectors, I've unfortunately accidentally knocked my A52s 5g off my bed a few times and got a couple of scrapes on the screen that WOULDN'T even be there if it came fitted with a screen protector.... That alone is now putting me off Samsung
