I can receive emails but it won't let me send them. This must have started over the weekend as ir was working last week. I have updated the app since this has started happening but it hasn't made any difference. This is on the email app and the outlook app

Have you tried removing and re-adding your email accounts, @scottLacey? You can do this by heading to Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage accounts > Select your email accounts > Remove account. Then, head back to the Manage accounts page > Select 'Add account' at the bottom of the list to re-add your accounts.

You may have been blocked by your email supplier.

Virgin media have an annoying habit of doing that if you fire off a lot of emails in short succession to same address and with large attachments.

Their system thinks your a scammer etc

Thanks guys all sorted. It was a simple fix of uninstalling and reinstalling
