After I updated my S22 to One UI v6.1 the AOD widget disappeared. Now there is only the clock, date, and notification icons. I have also checked the AOD settings, and the option to select a widget is missing.

Samsung, what's going on? Please bring back this useful feature!

Do not update to the new ui. I just updated and there are a lot of iphone problems that i feel samsung users should not encounter. First you can not customize or change your always on display. It uses the color of your wallpaper and that is it. You can not customize the size, positioning, color, brightness or style of AOD. Furthermore you can not use the three navigation buttons with swipe gestures. You are left with iphone stylr midscreen swipe or antic pressing buttons. The solution for this is " Good lock" an application on samsung store that is currently not available and will be available in the future. The problem with this is we are getting iphone features and iphone limited personalisation. If i valued that i would have bought an iphone long time ago. High praises to the UK support team, more precisely the support officer that told me right away that the limited customization is the new ui and not my phone. The us support gave me the regular troubleshooting steps that i wasted hours on, checking if my phone is the issue when i knew clearly it wasnt the phone.

I read able to fix the navigation gesture problem with Lock Star, but AOD remains hosed. Samsung did this on purpose? Jeez, if they are going to lick down my phone settings, I might as well get an iPhone.
