After Updating to One ui 7 I can not find the preloaded wallpapers

After I updated to One Ui 7 I can no longer find the preinstalled wallpapers that the phone came with for the S22. If i go to preloaded the only ones that show up is the green preloaded wallpaper(s) but none of the other colours show up not even the live wallpapers. There are a few other preloaded ones that come up which are new but awful.

Does anyone know how i can get them back or why it happened?

Hello! I had the same issue. Then I noticed the option "variations" at the bottom of the wallpaper, just before you are about to press "done". The other colors are there for me. Hope it works for you.

There's about 300 galaxy wallpapers in this zip file. From various models. The S22 wallpapers are included.

If you pinch for wallpapers or go to Wall papers and style-change wallpapers-there is from Galaxy themes option and Get More Wallpapers. you will see top 100 wallpapers and steady selling wallpapers. Alternatively go to Galaxy store for Wallpaper Apps. There are also options via Good Lock https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sammyfans.com/2025/01/21/good-lock-2025-one-ui-7-debuts-mesmerizing...1746794389949.jpg

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Yep, it's not just the S22 ultra that lost its pre-installed wallpapers, but also the S24 ultra, S21 ultra, and I guess all the others too. There is only one default theme and those three like yours.

That's not all, on the S21 Ultra even Samsung's wallpapers from Galaxy Themes are no longer compatible with OneUI 7.

And that's not all. If you install compatible themes that you once downloaded, they do not work properly at all, I barely restored the default theme on the S21 Ultra, the phone was completely blocked with old themes. With the default theme, OneUI 7 is fluid and works flawlessly. Now you know that all the bugs of all these countless complaints with all older flagships are caused by old bad themes, not OneUI 7

OneUI 7 is optimized ONLY with your default theme, if your custom themes downloaded before 0neUI 7 doesn't have update, in most cases won't work well with OneUI 7. You need fresh themes, which are optimized for OneUI 7

Honestly, I don't miss those pre-installed themes at all. Good Lock's modules, Galaxy AI, Gemini, the possibilities for a fully personalized OneUI 7 are endless. With so many themes in the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store,  no, I don't miss the pre-installed wallpapers

I dont like the other themes and majority of the wallpapers in the galaxy themes store i dont really like either or the ones i do are paid. So i just tend to use the preinstalled wallpapers and swap between them every so often

I'm afraid the lost pre-installed themes will never come back. Samsung obviously had a reason for doing this, you can send them feedback through Samsung Members support.
