Yup, facing the same issue, in app Samsung support are clueless about their own app.

It doesn't show that option in my morr connection settings . T-MOBILE carrier.

So here is what i did in case someone is in need of an exact answer.
Go to your google messenger set as default then open settings click rcs chat off
Once that is done go to samsung messenger then continue samsung messenger go to settings then check chat settimgs when you open it a proper menu is there and your rcs js good to go. Thank me later!
