I have a voicemail notification appear on the top tool bar, and cannot remove it

I have a voicemail notification icon appear on the top toolbar of the phone. Whatever I have tried I cannot delete it. Any ideas. Thanks.

Hi. Just to let you know. Just done a hard reset (Volume up/Volume down buttons, and on/off button at the same time,and it has cleared it.👍

Next time it happened, call yourself from a different phone and go to your voice message box and delete it.. Then everything will be OK...

I am learning all these phone repair tricks after I became a Samsung customer... With apple.. I never never never knew what cache was either
