finger print x2 to unlock

Please someone help, ive been messing with my settings (yes i know im stupid), but somehow now when i use my fingerprint to unlock my phone it asks for it again and then ive to press my home button to use my phone, what have i done? help please, i turned animation on/off, .5,1,2x no luck, help

Set your phone to have a 2nd login, possibly a pin number.
Then, delete the stored fingerprints. Then reboot.
Now, taking your time and lots of patience, set new fingerprints.

thanks for your reply, it dint work so i had to reset my phone, oh the joys of putting 107 apps back on it from scratch lol
