This has been ongoing for over a year now and I've lost hope in Samsung, they will never fix the wakelock as they say it's working as intended to prevent camera shake, they should however give us an option to disable it if we want to, it uses too much battery if you do a lot of moving around with device in pocket. If this was fixed we would get double the battery life.
My contract runs out end of 2023 and I don't plan on getting another Samsung. Especially when they don't listen to their consumers and there's 100s of articles online regarding the issue but has been blatantly ignored. Just Google "s21 ultra pocket drain".
