Galaxy S20 SeriesHey all
Got a galaxy s20 plus 5g.
When I'm connected to WiFi my upload/download arrows are constantly on.
Wife has the s20 5g and its exhibiting the same behaviour.
Anyone else have this ?
Thanks

Galaxy S20 SeriesThanks but I think its strange.
Just upgraded from S8+ and on that device the arrows only lit up when data was being transmitted but not constantly like the s20.
Makes me wonder what the point of the arrows is if they are not there to signify data transfer then why bother ?
I don't think it is normal for them to be lit up constantly- hence the post

Galaxy S20 SeriesThanks
I get that but its annoying, as mine are constantly on.
When I turn wifi off and go 5g both arrows flash on and off as I'd expect but using wifi just stay on solid.
The phone is not constantly transmitting and receiving data using WiFi for hours so I reckon its a glitch

Galaxy S20 SeriesI have the exact same behavior but on a Galaxy A50. When connected to a WiFi, both arrows (download and upload) stay solid. I tried booting the phone in Safe Mode (as indicated in another article to disable "apps using my WiFi connection") and ... same results. The WiFi arrows keep solid as if the phone was in an endless receiving/sending data loop. As you say, this is most likely a glitch in the code.
My wife's phone (anotherA50) shows the same issue, BUT she does not seem to mind.
BTW our phones are running Kernel version 4.14.62-18098116. Android security patch level July 1, 2020.
