No article I have found even mentions it. I had the S8 which I could manually change but I cant find it at all on the ultra s20! This is winding me up as I specifically got this phone for the camera and already having problems with focusing on close up objects and I dont get whats going on??

@Dales91x: Aperture should be visible along with the other Pro Mode options, and is represented by a while circle with diagonal lines leading to a central white circle (to represent the shutters). If you can't see it, please can you attach a screen shot of what you can see when you enter Pro Mode, and I will look into this further for you.

Hi thank you for your quick reply! I think you mean the third option in that says standard? But when I click on that it just says about the temperature and tint etc. May just be being completely blind here :smiling-face: and the second one in seems to be shutter speed but I cant see any option for aperture. Thank you!Screenshot_20200519-195807_Camera.jpg

The s20 has no variable aperture if you meant that there is no option.

Let me know

oh no 😞

Yes that is what I meant, I wanted to change aperture manually so I could focus on night sky photography.  So will my aperture just automically adjust to my ISO and shutter speed settings? Thanks for your response.

hi. As far as i know the aperture is fixed at 1.8 and it was also fixed on the s8. Only the s9 s10 and n9 n10 have the dual aperture 1.5 or 2.4

Hopefully samsung add this feature in a future 2021 flagship perhaps with a 3 step aperture.

Sorry.

Have a nice evening still, also the sensor is quite big so even with no dual aperture the light sensitivity should be very good
