UI3.1 - Another camera issue - lines on zoom lens

Galaxy S20+ - UI3.1   After update, when ever i use the zoom lens (either pinch zoom or use the quick zoom button, aka the single tree icon) i get noisey lines on the screen and picture once the camera focuses as see in the pics below. Does the same thing when zooming on video too. I have tried the "reset camera settings" and the members camera diagnostic. The member diag only does the main forward cam and the selfie cam. not the zoom cam.

I have the same phone and I tried zooming but I didn't get any lines. Try wiping the camera's with a cloth.

sorry I know you're trying but wiping the camera will not get rid of a software issue 😂

First of try starting with the easy 3 steps
1 rest camera settings
2 soft reset
3 clear the phone cache.
those would be the first 3 steps i would take.

Tried wiping the cache. Even did a wipe and a restart 😞 didnt help. Thanks for the suggestion though. I think it might be an issue with the "Improved Camera Performance" that was part of the update

some phones run into problems buddy different networks tweak the update etc etc samsung release it to store bought phones which get tge update first then samsung releases it to phone providers which they love messing with it. so exynos and snap dragon each will handle the update differently could be any reason.

I've been having issues with my camera since the one ui 3.1 update. Images come out over exposed and very noisy with the flash on.. I've made several posts about this and have sent error reports to Samsung.. Still waiting for Samsung to address this!
