Texting issue with my new S20 FE

Hi guys,

Please, can anyone help me with my issue S20 FE texting. I cannot receive texts, but I can send texts to others. I went to Cricket Wireless office to fix this issue and they have changed my SIM card and fixed texting and MMS settings, but no solution. Still no change, I cannot receive txt messages including MMS.

My S20 FE is unlocked and calls are working very well, but I need solution to this issue before I return it back.

As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone @Baker2020 

Is this happening with a particular contact or all contacts ?

could be issue with sim, try to change your sim with your provider

I tried another phone and my SIM card works very well with no issues at all. This is not happening in a particular contacts.

My provider Cricket has changed my SIM card in a try to help me fix the problem, but again doesn't help. Same issue exists.

same issue with brand new phones on att. Me and my wife can text each other but no one out of network can send us text.

Well, no. I could not fix the problem only after I completely changed my phone number. Not only the SIM card, but my phone number. With all the pain associated with changing a number that worked with me for years, this was the only solution available. You could change your wireless carrier, too. This is also an option that I didn't go with.

My wife had the same problem. Download Google messenger app and make it default and allow it to turn off battery optimization to let messenger run in the background. Or try changing your battery optimization settings and keep Samsung's default texting app.
