Spotify switches on every time I turn on car engine

You mean via Android Auto?

No idea...as soon as I start car, Spotify starts playing as I did not open app I have to lock screen then switch off via lock screen widget

You have an infotainment unit with satnav in your car? Are you connecting using a cable?

In the Spotify app on your device, click on the SETTINGS (SMALL COGWHEEL), then scroll down the list until you see NAVIGATION. put all switches to off.

Go into your Bluetooth settings, and unpair your car.

Auto play is in Spotify settings, switch it off and Voila

This issue has still not been resolved. This is dangerous and distracting as the music does not often start before I have set off driving . My techy Godson looked up the issue and suggests it is a bigger problem and that some have said you need to download another app to disable this function. This is rediculous samsung. Please find a better fix 🙏
