Samsung can you please fix this over exposed camera that's happened after the one ui 3.1 update. Not just me but several other members here have the same issue.. Can you please fix this!
Is the camera set to Auto or sweep at the base if the camera screen to find all the professional photographic exposure settings you may like, plus check it is not stuck any particular special effect.
This is nothing to do with the camera's effects or a setting. It's the new one ui 3.1 update that has caused this. Before the update it was working fine. Since the update it has caused the camera to overexposed and become vee noisy.
There are other members here who had the exact same result with pictures. The new update has made the camera worse
Haytch that is just awful and would do my head in as anything that affects my phone camera gets to me more than anything else as I use my camera all the time. Have you or anyone else with this big problem tried wiping the cache partition after the one ui 3.1 update?. This can wipe out any bugs or the like that come down with any update. If you keep bringing your problem to Samsung's attention, as you are here, this will make it more likely they will fix it in a future software update. Hopefully very soon Haytch. 👍
Thankyou for your reply. I have tried wiping the partition. I have done it when someone previously asked me to do it on a previous post I made about this and it still never fixed the problem.. But I will try it again for peace of mind and see if anything changes. Thanks
Is this the S20? I know on my S20 Ultra it's doing this but it's a strange behaviour, if it's aimed into an open dark space it happens, but to a close range object in darkness it's fine.
I'm using the s20 ultra.. I am 100% sure this error/ glitch is caused from the new one ui 3.1 update. Before the update the camera flash was working perfectly. I'm not sure if it's affecting other phones but test it out.. Use the flash and you will get a picture which is overexposed. Take 10 pictures and 8 of those will be overexposed
