S20 ultra dim screen problem

Does any s20 ultra owner experience problems with the display when sitting in the sun the screen dims to a level that you can barely see? Even though the screens brightness is on max when checking.

Phone is unusable outsite after about 5 mins!  Completely unacceptable!!  For "$1200 this phone sure has a ton of basic problems (cameras, screen, overheating, hiccups)  SHould have kept my s10.  I would not recommend this phone to anyone and I've had samsungs since the s3.  This is by far the worst one!!

SM-G9800 (Samsung galaxy S20 ultra) same problem since july update. (and 2. july update with 65 mbyte)
The device can hardly be read in sunlight with clouds. Display pulsates continuously.
Please fix it.

Same with me, standard S20 5G

S20+ 5g (G986U) also dimming while hot, quite badly at 120hz op. Had to remove phone protective skin and return to 60hz operations. Slowly returned to near normal. OAT was 91f.

Add me to the list S20+ 5 minutes outside even with relatively low sunlight or bright overcast and the screen dims to unusable. Brightness slider does nothing its at a fixed low brightness. please fix this samsung.

I bought it for its ultra brightness level outside and yet it's barely visible?

OK, trying with 60hz and getting the same problem even without the phone being that hot. Something definitely screwed up with the brightness settings

I'm having the same problem. Really annoying. The last half of the brightness slider doesn't change a thing.

Is there a fix yet?
