Hi everyone,
Interested to know if anyone has had an S20 Ultra and then found the camera screen at the back either cracked or with a 'bullet hole' just appear despite having not dropped the phone or hit anything?
I have had this and obviously been on lockdown so not subjected the phone to anything like normal day to day rigours. Samsung denied any issues but a quick Google search showed up what I think is clearly an issue ! As I expected (but hoped I would be wrong) Samsung were not interested in listening or checking reports, I was just told it was not covered by warranty and therefore I'd need to pay to sort it out myself. I'd had the phone 5 weeks and spent £1200 on it ! My S8+ has been dropped and thrown about outside when fallen from pocket, not a single issue with it and using it now while S20 Ultra sitting here waiting for me to get it sorted. I have phone insurance so not bothered by that but I am bothered by Samsungs attitude and also worried about it happening again once I get it back ! Samsung will not get my business again, may sell it and get a Oneplus 8 pro 👍

Mine is cracked as well... There must be 1000s as it's all over the internet. Samsung will not accept any liability even though there are so many complaints. Once I can actually find a place to get in fixed in the UK I am going to sell the phone and will never return to Samsung again.

I agree, the Samsung support people said they'd never heard of this issue, I don't believe that for a minute !! Mine is now being fixed on my phone insurance and when it's back I'll probably sell it as it's not fit for purpose, if it's going to break just sitting next to me on the couch or in my pocket then it's got no chance out in the real world. Maybe it's a build issue as not everyone has the issue, such a shame Samsung not interested bearing in mind the amount of issues a quick google search shows up !! Good luck getting yours fixed, Samsung repair centre wanted nearly £300 to repair it. I said the camera doesn't need replacing, just the glass, but they said they would have to replace the fully working camera to !! Awful company

May you send a picure? This way it can work as feedback if there is a manufacturing problem it will help samsung to identify it quicker

I've had the same issue but a hairline fracture on mine.
Worth noting i've not been out and not dropped the phone once since i got it.
Samsung support have quoted the same to me:
- Not covered under warranty
- £219 to fix it
Why would i pay to fix a defective product?
Samsung Sort It Out!!!!

Archer, I'm hoping Samsung investigate this, for the sake of their customers 👍

I wish you luck in getting it fixed, I'm lucky I had phone insurance. I'll be selling mine when it comes back as I have no trust in it at all, Samsung need to wake up as their reputation will be badly damaged amongst it's loyal customers. I've always had Samsung phones and my S8+ has been bulletproof and still works fine. The issue with this new S20 Ultra is that the camera screen is clearly weak and will not stand the rigours of real life. All these issues are in lockdown conditions so we're all stuck indoors!! Shame on Samsung but I'm off to another vendor 👍
