S20+ slow 4G data speed

I have been using my phones S10+ and now S20+ for gaming on PC. I kbow that it's not ideal at all, but I have been able to do gaming just fine on my S10+. Now switched to S20+ I have noticed a significant speed drop and also latency has gone much worse. I still have both phones so I can compare. I even went and got and second sim from same operator to see exactly the difference on phones.

On my S10+ speed is up to 163Mbps download and 52Mbps upload. Ping 35ms and jitter 1ms.

S20+ download 71Mbps, upload 47Mbps, ping 40ms and jitter 18ms.

On gaming the difference can be clearly experienced. 

Anybody else have this same issue? Samsung customer service did not help at all.

dont know about the gaming but i did noticed the speeds on 4g+ are worse than on s10

not sure if its something to do with the 5g ( ihave that enabled) but at home i not in the 5g coverage area however i go outside next street i get 5g

either way vodafone UK 5g is a joke - is worse than 4g - phone is often connected to 5g but doesnt really have an active internet connection and it keeps switching between 5g-4g=H+ making it impossible to use internet until you are back into a stronghold 4g area

considering how much more energy/resources 5g eats up - thank god i dont pay extra for it or else id be fuming!

I have got this problem in my new S20 , I find that network is always dropping from 4g+ 》H+》E , and speed freeze in E , I have to do restart all the day , I have been using One plus for two years and it is work like sharp,  shame on a big company to sell a 1000 us/d with all of these problems.

I sent error report to Samsung with screenshots in different times and no response till now.

I don't know now if it could be solved by next update or not.

I'm having the same issue with my s20+.  I called my carrier, but couldn't find a fix on their end. I hope Samsung has a solution for this - this phone is too expensive for this problem.

I used the hotspot from my note 9 on ps4 and now use the s20 ultra and its slowed down so much, its almost unusable. It doesnt download games like the note 9 did and the games lag so much. Really dont know what to do about it.

I had to buy another router and second sim card. S20+ is so slow that really can't used for playing at all.

Yes mine has been slow or not load at all sometimes.(most times)..wifi and cell data both. I want retrade my s8 back. Expensive junk

After the latest update it's been just fine. No more restarts and 4G speed is good enough. Now it's a keeper.

I am also having the same issue. Almost unusable on 4g

I agree - the last update greatly improved the phone.  I guess it serves me right not waiting a few months to buy - haha.
