S20 Hard Factory Reset ADVICE PLEASE

I want to hard factory reset an s20 as I can't recall password. Tried to turn off phone pressing power & volume down then hold power volume up but no menu appears just loads to Home Screen, Any advice on getting successful Factory restored please

If the phone is linked to your Samsung account, you may be able to reset the password from a web browser on a PC or Mac

In that case I will be interested to know if there is an answer. Like if Samsung can reset after providing satisfactory proof of ownership, for example

Samsung experience store can unlock this but you'd need to prove ownership of the phone.

They may be able to do it remotely via customer service, if they do you'd still need to provide proof of ownership.

When using recovery mode try turning off the device and connecting to a pc via USB then hold power & vol +
