S20+ Biometric Unlock Restrictions

Hello all, 

I've noticed the biometric option to unlock is disabled at random points and the phone requires me to unlock with code/pattern.

Usually noticed this in the night or first thing in the morning, similar to when you restart the phone, implying every night the phone reboots.

Is anyone aware of a timeout that disables the biometric unlock or is the phone just rebooting each night randomly?

1. Access Settings.

   You may pull up the app drawer or swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon.
   
   

2. Scroll down to find General management and then tap on it.

   You may have to scroll all the way down to find it.
   
   

3. Tap Reset.

   This will show you the different types of resets but it’s also where you can find the auto restart feature.
   
   

4. Tap Auto restart to open its settings.

   You can also just enable it directly but if you haven’t set it before, then you wouldn’t know the time when it’s going to reboot automatically.
   
   

5. Tap the switch to enable it.

   You need to do it customize its settings.
   
   

6. Choose the day you want it to reboot by itself.

   Just tap on the letter to choose.
