Requirements for Android11 Beta?

I've noticed online a number of people who have been accepted for the beta and just wondered what are the requirements?

My Details:

>S20Ultra 5G

>UK

>Three Network

>Currently on latest update that is available for both phone and all Samsung Apps

you need to be on the unlocked software to be allowed to participate. unfortunatly

unlocked phones only, and android 11 had too many problems, you could ask 3 network to send you an unlock code , a few years ago they used to charge £5 quid

Go to settings > about phone > software information then scroll down until you see 'Service provider SW ver.' you'll see 3 codes (or 4 if your phone is duel sim) (see attached image) if it says H3G instead of BTU you'll not be able to install the beta as it's running carrier firmware

yh unfortunately I am showing the H3G. Thanks for your help.

Three phones already come unlocked by default but his/her phone' CSC is H3G which is Three's code for their custom carrier firmware so won't be able to install the beta.

sorry to post hear. does it mean mine is locked? im on EE and is dual sim i have 2 sim in it and it works with a non EE one. can anyone help?

Your phone is running carrier firmware for EE in the U.K. on CSC code EVR and is therefore not eligible for Beta. Only the unbranded, non carrier, firmware BTU in the U.K. can run it.
