Your phone's inbuilt blocking facility will only block incoming calls that have a number attached @Julezann
There used to be apps available that could do this but you would now have to check the Playstore to look for any applicable options.
Sometimes Dr surgeries etc block their numbers so not all are malicious.
If your getting plagued by such calls then you may have something similar to the UK `s what_is_tps service.
Your Network Customer services maybe able to help along with any official police force.

@Anonymous User: I recommend opening the Phone app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Caller ID and Spam Protection > On, as this will display the details of callers who are not on your contacts list.
